Control Room

Our warehouse facilities are fully secured, staffed around the clock, and continuously monitored by video surveillance. With 34 years of experience, we’ve refined our approach to delivering top-tier transport services. OMS

A few years ago, we developed our in-house Online Management System (OMS) to meet diverse customer needs. OMS has been a game changer, enabling us to process more parcels efficiently. Continuously updated, OMS now includes an API tool for seamless integration with online shops. In 2016, DCB won a Logistics Achiever Award for redesigning the client interface. OMS allows customers to access key features such as instant quotes, waybill creation, track and trace, POD retrieval, delivery site management, invoicing, and automated instructions—all in one convenient system.



Trackmatic

Trackmatic is our fleet monitoring and tracking utility, developed in partnership with DCB to enhance operational efficiency and driver safety. It provides our control room with tools for real-time tracking, no-go area monitoring, speeding reports, and customer notifications for vehicle arrivals and departures. Additionally, Trackmatic supports route control, route optimization, and offers various reporting features to ensure effective fleet management.



Parcel Tracking

We operate an internet-based tracking system that monitors the movement of all our parcels, accessible to all customers via our website. This system allows you to track your shipments in real time, ensuring transparency and peace of mind. Additionally, customers can log in with their unique password to access further details, including rates and hard copy Proof of Delivery (POD) documents. This secure platform is designed to provide comprehensive information, making it easy to manage your shipments and obtain the data you need whenever you require it, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.



SWAD

Our specialized weighing and dimension machine (SWAD) processes all compatible parcels to provide accurate weight and volume data, ensuring a precise representation of the space required for each shipment. To maintain its accuracy, our SWAD is serviced and calibrated every six months, exceeding the standards set by trade authorities. We have SWAD machines strategically located in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban, allowing us to consistently deliver reliable measurements across these key regions, ensuring optimal space utilization and accurate billing for our customers.



eDocs

E-docs is our secure document management solution, designed to create and store images of critical documents such as delivery sheets, waybills, and GRVs. This system automates invoicing and offers one-click access to Proof of Delivery (POD) directly from your electronic invoice. E-docs also enables quick and easy multi-POD searches on our website and allows for effortless retrieval of hardcopies. At DCB, our primary goal is to make E-docs the go-to POD solution for our customers, ensuring efficiency and ease of access.



Pallet SWAD

Our Johannesburg facility features a specialized pallet weighing and dimension (SWAD) machine designed to accurately measure the weight and volume of pallets. This ensures precise space allocation and billing for palletized shipments. To maintain its accuracy, the SWAD machine is serviced and calibrated every six months, exceeding industry standards. With this advanced technology, we guarantee that your pallets are measured accurately, optimizing space utilization and ensuring reliable cost assessments. The Johannesburg SWAD machine is an essential part of our commitment to providing top-tier logistics solutions for our customers.



FreightWare

Our FreightWare system is designed to streamline and optimize your logistics operations. This advanced software provides real-time tracking, accurate rate calculations, and efficient shipment management. With FreightWare, you can easily generate waybills, track deliveries, and access detailed reports. The system also supports automated invoicing and integrates seamlessly with our Online Management System (OMS) to ensure smooth operations. FreightWare enhances our ability to provide reliable and cost-effective freight solutions, helping you manage your shipments with precision and ease.



SWAD Images

Our SWAD Images system operates in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and at our pallet facilities, capturing an image of each parcel as it flows through the SWAD machines. This imaging process provides a detailed visual record of every parcel, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking. By incorporating these images, we enhance our ability to manage and verify shipments, offering a comprehensive overview of parcel handling. This visual documentation supports our commitment to precision and reliability in logistics, ensuring that each parcel is thoroughly recorded and monitored throughout its journey.



Backup Power

We have three generators on-site to ensure uninterrupted power supply. Two generators support our operations and office staff, while a third is dedicated to the server room. This setup guarantees that both our operational activities and critical server functions remain unaffected during power outages, maintaining smooth and reliable service delivery.



Backup Internet

We have two fiber optic lines and three backup LTE connections to ensure reliable internet access. The dual fiber lines provide high-speed, primary connectivity for our operations, while the LTE backups serve as a failover solution, ensuring continuous internet availability even during disruptions. This robust setup supports uninterrupted communication and data flow, maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our services.



API Integrations

Our OMS features an API for seamless integrations with various systems, enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, we offer plugins for WooCommerce, allowing for straightforward synchronization between your online store and our OMS. This setup facilitates smooth data exchange, order management, and inventory updates, ensuring a streamlined and cohesive workflow.
